The central government launched Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana & Lucky Grahak Yojana in Mumbai. These schemes are to encourage the online payment and the online transaction. The main aim of the central government to launch these schemes is to make the country Digital.
Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana
This scheme is meant for the merchants and in this scheme, merchants accepting digital payments through RuPay Cards, UPI, USSD and AEPS will be rewarded. Every week 7,000 merchants will get cash rewards and the reward amount would be Rs 50,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,500. Even in this scheme digital transaction above Rs 3,000 will not be eligible for the lucky draw.
Lucky Grahak Yojana
The Lucky Grahak Yojana scheme is meant for the consumers and in this scheme the prize money goes upto Rs 1 crore. In this scheme, Government would reward 15,000 people daily and these people will be selected on the basis of a lucky draw.
For the next 100 days 15,000 people will be getting Rupees 1,000. Out of the 15,000 daily winners, 11,900 winners will be consumers using RuPay Card, 1,500 winners each using the UPI and AEPS transactions and the remaining 100 winners will be consumers using the USSD method for transaction.
The central government has launched these both schemes for encouraging the people towards the online payment and the online transactions. These both schemes will provide the awards to the merchants and to the customer on the daily bases.
