The department of the Technical Education will give training to the youths who are unemployed in Tamilnadu. The youths will be trained with new skills that they can get the job opportunities in the various fields.
There are thousands of the people who have dropped out of school or college will get chance to return to campus. These training programs will teach new skills to the youths and will help them to gain employment.
The training given to the youths will be free of cost in different technical skill sets such as mobile repairing and AC repairing. The Department of Technical Education has identified 158 government and private institutes for this purpose.
These institutes will coordinate with the department for this project to make the youth skilled. This project of training to the unemployed youth is the part of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.
This program has funded by the All India Council for the Technical Education (AICTE). A workshop was conducted on Tuesday for the representation of 158 colleges. In the program a broad frame work of how the program can be carried out was presented.
The courses under this program will be of 3 to 6 months then the students will be given a certificate. Director of Technical Education H.U Talwar said that the aim of this program is to tie up with the industry experts.
The main objective of this program will be to train the students in skills that they can get the employment. Department of Technical Education is likely to launch this program in November 2016.
To take the benefit of this program the candidate should be 18 years old. The candidates should give an undertaking that they are unemployed.
By taking the training under his program the candidates will be able to get a good job.It is the employment guaranteed program and the starting pay of the candidates after attending this program will be between Rs 10000 to 15000.
